DESCRIPTION:
Sextants- 2 (Two) Kelvin & Hughes Sextants: Kelvin & Hughes Ltd., London, 7 inch radius sextants, pierced metal frames with black finish, signed brass arcs with inset silvered scales with graduations from 0-150, knurled fine adjustment, index magnifiers, multiple shades for horizon and index mirrors, sighting scopes, and wood handles, all in finger-jointed mahogany boxes with paper labels under the lid.
CONDITION:
both in good overall condtion, though there are empty slots in both boxes. Tarnish on silvered arcs. Good labels under lid listing, both listing dates of 1961. Inset plaques in box tops are missing. Dimensions are for closed box. Sold "as is ".
